Our Vision

plan

This year SSV will be continuing its tradition of creating an amazing place and facilitating the combining of efforts, talents, resources, gumshun and elbow grease of a multi-national plethora of artists, teachers, healers, builders, performers, visionaries, and culinaries like you, to create an amazing, transformative, embracing, grounding, captivating, and engaging experience for each other and our playa family.

The Burning Man theme this year is 'rights of passage' and our camp theme is "reEmegence" with emphasis on the various dimensions of growth and change as demonstrated by the seasons, directions, elements, the human endeavor... the rights of passage.

We will be providing imaginative and engaging spaces, opportunities and invitations for participation on many levels. Utilizing our 50x50 Pavilion tent as the 'grand hall', a large temple space with an indoor stage featuring virtually constant activity,a dancing/performance area, sofas, pillows, low tables, altars, sculptures, art and lavish embellishment. This space will also be used for open yoga, tai chi, large workshops, transformational games, and other offerings. Connected to this will be our 4 30'+ domes representing their respective "rights of passage", of seasons/elements etc., Temples for our/your playa-renowned workshops and activities, art and experiences both interactive and inner-active.

plus of course... amazing meals (even better than last year), showers, a 'campers only' chill space with snacks, coffee/tea, the sweat hut and many surprises, both planned and playa'nd. ya !

With 24 Hour Interactive Elements, Bands, Chill Space, Crafts, Creating Music, Dancing, Drawing, Drumming, Education, Fire/Flame Art, Food, Games, Gifts, Guests, Lectures, Meditation, Music, Performance, Poetry, Performance Art, Ritual, Ritual, Scheduled Events, Sculpture, Services, Shared Experience, Singing, Spoken Word, Theme-related activities, Theme-related visual effects, Water Art, Workshops, Yoga and more.
